About Punjab Education Foundation (PEF)
The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) is an autonomous body of the School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, which imparts free education to around 4 million children across the province. PEF is seeking dynamic individuals for the post of Monitoring & Evaluation Officers to support its field operations across Punjab’s districts.
Eligibility Criteria for PEF Jobs (August) 2026
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (MEO)
- Ex-Servicemen (JCOs/NCOs and equivalent from Army, Navy and Air Force): Minimum Graduation (14 years of education); age 30–55 years.
- Fresh/Civilian Candidates: Minimum 16 years of education; age 25–40 years.
- Salary: Rs. 60,000 per month plus other allowances as per the HR Manual of PEF.
- Other Requirements: Punjab domicile (candidates may only apply in their respective district); a valid motorcycle licence; physical fitness; and willingness to perform field work, including in hard areas. Candidates with IT experience will be preferred.

Terms & Conditions
- The recruitment is temporary, non-permanent and district-wise; the contract duration is one year, with extension subject to the permission of the Competent Authority.
- The candidate must be willing and able to do field work in their designated district.
- The candidate must hold a Punjab domicile; candidates may only apply in their respective district.
- Candidates convicted by any court, dismissed from the Armed Forces or any government job, or dismissed for unsatisfactory performance from any government project, are not eligible to apply.
- The candidate must have a valid motorcycle licence; if the candidate does not own a motorcycle, permission to use one must be submitted on stamp paper from the owner.
- Candidates with IT experience will be preferred, and the candidate must be physically fit.
- LPR holders from the Armed Forces must submit an NOC, and diploma holders (DAE/Training) must submit an IBCC Intermediate equivalence certificate.
- PEF may increase or decrease the number of posts as per requirement without prior notice.
- Candidates may be required to perform duties in hard areas as well.

The application processing fee is payable through the prescribed fee challan at any online branch of The Bank of Punjab (Account No. 6510003300400083) till 7 September 2026. The deposited amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
