About the Centre of Excellence for CPEC
The Centre of Excellence for the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor is a dedicated research hub established at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), the country’s premier economic think tank founded in 1957. Operating under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, the Centre carries out high-quality research and policy analysis to advance the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor and support Pakistan’s socio-economic development. The current openings are project-based positions funded under the PSDP.

- The initial appointment is for a period of two years, extendable on an annual basis subject to satisfactory performance.

Tenure & Remuneration
The initial appointment for each position is on a two-year contract basis, extendable annually subject to satisfactory performance. Remuneration is offered under the PIDE Pay Scale (PPS) attached to each post, ranging from PPS 05/06 to PPS 10/11.
