Eligibility Criteria for UON (Narowal) Jobs 2026
1. Project Director — PPS-8
- Qualification: B.Sc (second division) in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university; registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council as an Engineer in Civil.
- Experience: Five years’ post-qualification relevant executive-level experience in the construction sector.
- Age Limit: 25 to 45 years.
2. Accounts Officer / Deputy Treasurer — PPS-8
- Qualification (Option A): MS or M.Phil (second division) in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing or Economics or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university, with three years’ post-qualification relevant experience.
- Qualification (Option B): MBA in Finance, or M.Com, ACCA, ACMA or M.Sc (second division) in Economics or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university, with five years’ post-qualification relevant experience.
- Age Limit: 25 to 45 years.
3. Sub Engineer — PPS-6
- Qualification: DAE in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Ten years’ post-qualification relevant experience.
- Age Limit: 21 to 40 years.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application processing fee is payable via an original bank challan/deposit slip in any Bank of Punjab branch (Account No. 6510222875800028): Rs. 1,000 for PPS-8 posts and Rs. 800 for the PPS-6 post. No bank draft, pay order, cheque or postal order is acceptable, and the original paid challan must be attached with the hard-copy application.
General Instructions
- Applicants dismissed/terminated or penalized contrary to service by any University/Government department/autonomous body/service tribunal/court are not eligible to apply.
- In-service candidates (including UoN employees) must apply through the proper channel and attach an NOC from the competent authority.
- Experience gained on a daily, part-time, honorary or apprentice basis will not be considered.
- Private-sector experience is accepted only if the entity is registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms or another regulatory authority.
- Applicants holding a foreign degree must attach an HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate.
- Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be allowed as per Government/University rules.
- The name of the post applied for must be clearly written on the top right side of the envelope.
- Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be called for the test/interview, and no TA/DA is admissible.
- These posts are purely on a contract/project basis and will be abolished on completion of the project; selected candidates will have no right to claim regular appointment.
How to Apply
- Complete and submit the online application form through the UoN Job Portal at www.uon.edu.pk, uploading all required documents and the paid challan, by 14 September 2026.
- Deposit the fee (Rs. 1,000 for PPS-8 / Rs. 800 for PPS-6) via an original Bank of Punjab challan and keep the original receipt.
- Prepare one printed set of the completed application form with attested copies of all degrees/certificates, transcripts/DMCs (both sides), experience certificates, updated CV, NOC, domicile, CNIC, passport-size photographs, and the original paid challan.
- Write the name of the post on the top right of the envelope and send the set by courier to the Office of the Registrar, University of Narowal, so it arrives no later than 17 September 2026 at 4:00 PM (by-hand applications are not accepted).
Application Deadline
The last date to submit the online application is 14 September 2026, and the hard-copy set must reach the Office of the Registrar by 17 September 2026 (4:00 PM). Applications submitted by hand, or received after the due dates, will not be entertained.
