About National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA)

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) is Pakistan’s premier institution dedicated to combating cyber threats, digital forensics and online financial crimes, operating under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control. Eligibility Criteria for NCCIA Jobs August 2026

1. Sub Inspector — BS-14

  • Qualification: 2nd class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s degree, or a post-Intermediate Associate Degree or BS (04 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom/Electrical Engineering, Data Science or an equivalent qualification (HEC recognized).
  • Physical Requirements: Height — men 5’6″, women 5’4″; chest (men only) 33×34½ inches.

2. Technical Assistant — BS-14

  • Qualification: Same as Sub Inspector (Bachelor’s / Associate Degree / BS in the relevant IT/cyber disciplines), plus 3 years’ post-qualification experience.

3. Stenotypist — BS-14

  • Qualification: Intermediate, with a minimum shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typing speed of 40 wpm; must be computer literate.

4. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) — BS-11

  • Qualification: Intermediate; selected candidates must undergo a 3-week MS Office training course conducted by the NITB within one year.

5. Assistant Sub Inspector — BS-09

  • Qualification: 2nd class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or a post-Intermediate Associate Degree, from an HEC-recognized university.

6. Constable — BS-05

  • Qualification: Matriculation, 2nd class, from a recognized board.
  • Physical Requirements: Height — men 5’6″, women 5’4″; chest (men only) 33×34½ inches.

7. Constable Driver — BS-05

  • Qualification: Matriculation, 2nd class, from a recognized board, with a valid motorcycle & LTV licence.
  • Experience: Capable of driving cars & light vehicles, with knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

Physical & Endurance Test

Applicants for Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Constable and Constable Driver must first undergo an endurance test consisting of a one-mile (1.6 km) run, with a qualifying time of 7 minutes for male candidates and 10 minutes for female candidates, along with physical measurements of height and chest. Only those who clear the physical measurements and qualify the endurance test will proceed to the Computer Based Test (CBT).

General Instructions

  • Each applicant must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2,000 per post applied for, via a 22-digit PSID generated on the online portal, paid through 1Link/1Bill service at any bank/ATM/internet banking/Easypaisa/Jazz Cash/UPaisa.
  • Applicants applying for more than one post must apply and pay separately for each.
  • Age relaxation will be given in accordance with the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limits) Rules 1993, including general age relaxation of 5 years; no relaxation in lower age limit, physical standards or endurance test.
  • In-service government candidates must apply through the proper channel and produce an NOC at the time of interview.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for the physical test/CBT/skill test/interview.
  • Technical Assistant (BPS-14) and UDC (BPS-11) appointees must qualify the mandatory NITB IT training course before completion of probation.
  • Providing false information is a criminal offence; the NCCIA maintains a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent documentation.
