Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency Jobs (August) 2026
1. Deputy Director, Lab / National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS) (BS-18)
- Qualification: Second Class or Grade “C” M.Sc. in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Bio-Informatics, Molecular Biology or Environmental Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Five years of post-qualification environment-related experience in BS-16 or above, or equivalent experience in the prescribed educational qualification in a Government, Semi-Government or reputable organization.
- Age: 25–35 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Domicile / Quota: Punjab (Open Merit).
2. Deputy Director, Environmental Engineering & Technology Transfer (EE & TT) (BS-18)
- Qualification Option 1: Second Class or Grade “C” B.Sc. Engineering in Chemical, Civil, Public Health, Environmental, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an HEC-recognized university, with valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
- Qualification Option 2: Second Class or Grade “C” M.Sc. in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemical Technology, Environmental Technology, Environment Planning and Management or Bio-Chemistry from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Five years of post-qualification experience in BS-16 or above, or equivalent experience in the prescribed educational qualification in a Government, Semi-Government or reputable organization.
- Age: 25–35 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Domicile / Quota: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Open Merit).
3. Assistant Director (Legal / Enforcement) (BS-17)
- Qualification: Second Class or Grade “C” LL.B. from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Two years of post-qualification experience in litigation or prosecution with a Government Law Enforcement Agency, Semi-Government organization or reputable organization.
- Age: 22–30 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Domicile / Quota: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Open Merit).
4. Sub-Engineer (BS-16)
- Qualification Option 1: Second Class or Grade “C” M.Sc. or BS in Chemistry or Environmental Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
- Qualification Option 2: Three-year Diploma in Associate Engineering (Electronics) from a recognized institute, along with two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Age: 20–28 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Domicile / Quota: Punjab (Open Merit).

- For BS-18 posts: Rs. 1,500/-.
