About MNS University of Engineering and Technology, Multan
The Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology (MNS UET), Multan, is a public-sector university established in 2014. Described as one of the fastest-growing universities in Southern Punjab, it aims to provide quality education in the fields of engineering and technology. The University is currently recruiting for three senior statutory positions to strengthen its administration.
General Instructions
- Application forms must be accompanied by six passport-size photographs and attested copies of all certificates, degrees, testimonials, detailed marks certificates, experience certificates, transcripts, equivalence certificates, a valid PEC/PMDC registration certificate (if applicable), CNIC, domicile and an updated CV.
- Candidates already serving in a government, semi-government or autonomous body must apply through the proper channel or submit an NOC on the prescribed format by the due date.
- All in-service candidates must submit a No Pending Inquiry Certificate from their organization.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms, each with the prescribed fee and complete documents.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview / written / skill test, and no TA/DA will be paid.
- The University reserves the right not to fill any post or to withhold an appointment at any stage without assigning a reason.
- Reserved quotas will be observed as per Government rules, and age relaxation will be admissible as per Government policy.
- All previous recruitment advertisements for Registrar, Treasurer and Controller of Examinations, along with the applications received, stand cancelled.

1. Registrar — BS-20
- Option A: PhD or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus eight years’ post-qualification teaching, administrative or professional experience from an HEC-recognized institute/university or public-sector organization.
- Option B: MS or M.Phil or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus ten years’ post-qualification teaching, administrative or professional experience.
- Option C: Master’s degree or BS (four years) in second division or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus twelve years’ post-qualification teaching, administrative or professional experience.
- Age Limit: 35 to 50 years.
2. Controller of Examinations — BS-20
- Option A: PhD or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus eight years’ post-qualification teaching, administrative or professional experience from an HEC-recognized institute/university or public-sector organization.
- Option B: MS or M.Phil or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus ten years’ post-qualification teaching, administrative or professional experience.
- Option C: Master’s degree or BS (four years) in second division or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus twelve years’ post-qualification teaching, administrative or professional experience.
- Age Limit: 30 to 50 years.
3. Treasurer — BS-20
- Option A: PhD in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing or Economics from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus eight years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Option B: MS or M.Phil in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing or Economics or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus ten years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Option C: MBA in Finance, or M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, M.Sc, or BS (four years) in second division in Economics or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute or university, plus twelve years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Age Limit: 40 to 50 years.

- Experience certificates and equivalence certificates from the concerned authority.
- Valid PEC/PMDC registration certificate (if applicable).

- The original Rs. 5,000 bank draft (or proof of online deposit).
Application Fee
An original bank draft of Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable and non-transferable) in favour of the Treasurer, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology, Multan, must be submitted with the application form. The processing fee may alternatively be deposited online at the HBL Mumtazabad Branch, Multan (account no. 12668900875503, titled “MNS UET, Multan”), with proof attached to the form.
