Eligibility Criteria for KICS Jobs (August) 2026
1. Research Associate
- Qualification: BS (16 years) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Software Engineering or a related HEC-recognized field.
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience is preferred in Cyber Security.
- Specialization: Cyber Security, Network Security, Digital Forensics or Malware Analysis.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit and Python/C++.
- Other Skills: Good technical writing and communication skills.
2. Research Assistant – NCCS
- Qualification: BS (16 years) in Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
- Fresh Graduates: Fresh graduates with a strong Final Year Project (FYP) in Cyber Security may also apply.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit and Python/C++.
- Other Skills: Good technical writing and communication skills.
3. Research Assistant – IoT Lab
- Qualification: BS (16 years) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
- FYP: Final Year Project in IoT will be encouraged.
- Specialization: IoT, Embedded Systems, Sensor Networks or IoT Security.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, MQTT, CoAP and programming in Python/C/Embedded C.
4. Software Engineer
- Qualification: Minimum BS in Computer Science or BSIT.
- Skills: Python and Odoo expertise.
- Experience: 1 year of experience.
5. Research Officer
- Qualification: Minimum BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Skills: Strong skills in Programming, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
6. Network Administrator
- Qualification: Minimum BS in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in network administration.
- Technical Skills: Strong skills in LAN/WLAN, switches, firewalls, Windows/Linux and network security.
