The Diamer Basha Development Company (DBDC), a subsidiary of WAPDA, has announced multiple job opportunities for candidates belonging to District Diamer. These vacancies are offered on a regular basis for both the Main Dam Project and the LA&R Section.
Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria of WAPDA Jobs
All applicants must be between 18 to 33 years. Age relaxation is available for disabled persons and existing DBDC employees as per rules.
Technical & Engineering Jobs
- IT Assistant (BPS-15): 14 years education in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering with at least 70% marks.
- Sub-Engineer Civil (BPS-14): 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil Technology.
- Jr. Technician Mechanical (BPS-14): DAE Mechanical OR 2-year vocational certificate with 3 years experience.
- Junior Store Keeper (BPS-11): Matric with DAE.
- Surveyor (BPS-07): Matric with one-year certificate in Surveying.
- Welder & Fitter Grade-II (BPS-07): Matric with trade certificate and experience.
Clerical & Administrative Jobs
- Stenographer Grade-II (BPS-14): Graduate with 40 w.p.m typing speed and MS Office skills.
- Jr. Clerk cum Computer Typist (BPS-11): Intermediate / L.Com / D.Com with 40 w.p.m typing speed.
- Tracer (BPS-07): Matric with drawing subject or diploma in tracing.
Support & Field Staff Jobs
- Attendant / Assistant Station Attendant: Matric (Science) or technical certificate.
- Naib Qasid, Mali, Dak Runner, Helper, Cleaner, Trolley-man, Valve-man: Middle or Matric qualification.
- Sanitary Worker: Literate (able to read and write simple letters).
