About the Project
The project is an HEC-funded NRPU research initiative (No. 154103-130) titled “Novel Dextranase to improve the yield and Algal-Bacterial Consortia to sustainably treat the Wastewater”, based at the Division of Science and Technology, University of Education, Lahore. It focuses on micro algal biotechnology and sustainable wastewater treatment, and requires research students and support staff to carry out its activities.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Education (Lahore) Jobs 2026
PhD (Zoology) Student
- The candidate must have secured admission in PhD (Zoology) in an HEC-recognized public sector university.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and practical experience in micro algal biotechnology, wastewater treatment, enzyme purification and characterization, enzyme kinetics, metagenomics and microbial culturing.
- Stipend: As per HEC policy.
MS Student
- The candidate must have secured admission in MS / M.Phil (Zoology) in an HEC-recognized public sector university.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and practical experience in micro algal biotechnology, wastewater treatment, enzyme purification and characterization, enzyme kinetics, metagenomics and microbial culturing.
- Stipend: As per HEC policy.
Accountant (Part-Time)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (B.Com / BBA or equivalent).
- A qualified and experienced part-time accountant to manage accounting and financial records and record keeping in a public sector university, research project or government-funded project.
- Working hours: Flexible (e.g., 3–4 hours per day or as agreed).
