A total of 800 vacancies are available across 3 posts — Emergency Medical Technician (BPS-12), Fire Rescuer (BPS-11) and Driver (BPS-06). Applications are submitted online through ETEA. About Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) provides emergency response, medical rescue, fire-fighting and disaster-management services across the province. The current recruitment is for emergency medical, fire-rescue and driver staff on a regular basis, with postings in any district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Eligibility Criteria for Rescue 1122 (KPK) Jobs 2026
1. Emergency Medical Technician — BPS-12
- Qualification: Paramedical Diploma / Nursing / LHV (preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Health Technology & Surgical Technology).
- Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.
2. Fire Rescuer — BPS-11
- Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) with a Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE).
- Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.
3. Driver — BPS-06
- Qualification: Middle and physically fit, with a valid HTV/LTV driving licence.
- Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.
Physical Test & Selection Process
- Mandatory physical test: 1-mile run in 7 minutes for male candidates (height 5’6″ and chest 33″ minimum); 9 minutes for candidates aged 40 and above; and 1-mile run in 9 minutes for female candidates (height 5’2″).
- Passing threshold: 40% marks and above for BPS-01 to BPS-16 in the screening/written test and interview.
- Aggregate weightage: Educational criteria 70 marks, ETEA test 20 marks, interview 10 marks.
- ETEA will conduct ability/skill tests (driving, computer literacy, etc.) as a screening tool where required.
- Only valid driving licences issued by the Government of Pakistan will be considered for the Driver posts (fresh-apply tokens will not be accepted).
- Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination at Police & Services Hospital, Peshawar, mandatory 6-month training, and must produce a Police Clearance Certificate before appointment.
General Instructions
- Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the physical/screening test; detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the Appointing Authority, and any ineligible candidate will be disqualified.
- Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
- Diplomas from banned boards/councils will not be considered, as notified by TEVTA KP.
- Candidates must bring their original CNIC, certificates/degrees and mark sheets (duly verified) at the time of tests/interview.
- Age relaxation will be admissible in accordance with the existing government rules.
- In-service government/semi-government candidates must apply through the proper channel with an NOC.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications with a separate fee for each post.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the physical test, written test or interview.
- Selected candidates must submit a surety bond on stamp paper, countersigned by an Oath Commissioner.
