The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), Government of the Punjab, Lahore, has announced job opportunities for the year 2026, inviting applications from experienced IT specialists for information-security positions on a contract basis for three years (extendable subject to satisfactory performance).

Eligibility Criteria for PLRA Jobs (August) 2026

All posts require a minimum of 16 years of education in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Cyber Security from an HEC-recognized university (higher qualifications in related disciplines preferred).

1. Deputy Director (Governance Risk & Compliance) — PPG-7

  • Experience: At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Information Security Governance, Risk Management, Security Compliance and Security Auditing in large-scale national/international organizations (ISO 27001 / CIS controls experience an advantage).
  • Certification: CISA, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 LI/LA (preference to CISA holders).

2. Deputy Director (Offensive Security) — PPG-7

  • Experience: At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Vulnerability Management, Offensive Security, Red Teaming and Penetration Testing in large-scale organizations.
  • Certification: OSCP, LPT, CPET or C|EH (preference to OSCP/LPT holders).

3. Deputy Director (Security Operations Center) / L3 Analyst — PPG-7

  • Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in information/cyber security with a SOC role (incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, malware research), including at least 3 years as an L3/L2 SOC analyst.
  • Certification: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA SecurityX or CASP+.

4. Assistant Director (Penetration Testing & Red Teaming) — PPG-6

  • Experience: At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in Cyber Security Assessment, Penetration Testing and Red Teaming.
  • Certification: CEH, OSCP, LPT, RTO or PenTest+ (preference to OSCP holders).

5. Assistant Director (Application Security Tester) — PPG-6

  • Experience: At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in penetration testing and web application testing.
  • Certification: CEH, OSCP, LPT, RTO or PenTest+ (preference to OSCP holders).

6. Assistant Director (Security Operations Center) / L2 Analyst — PPG-6

  • Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in information/cyber security with a SOC role (incident response, threat hunting, malware research), including at least 2 years as an L2/L1 SOC analyst.
  • Certification: Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CSA, CHFI, or SIEM (Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar) or similar SOC-supported certifications.

7. Assistant Director (Digital Forensic & Incident Response) — PPG-6

  • Experience: At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Digital Forensics and Malware Research in large-scale organizations.
  • Certification: CHFI, eCDFP, CySA+, SSCP or similar forensic certification.

8. Assistant Director (Security Architect & Administrator) — PPG-6

  • Experience: At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience as an Infrastructure Administrator, Solutions Architect or similar role, with strong knowledge of network and system architecture and administration.
  • Certification: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Network Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, CCNP Security or CCIE Security.
