Eligibility Criteria for PCAA Notice No 4 Jobs (August) 2026
Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) — EG-08
- Minimum Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized education board.
- Hold or have held an ATPL with a type rating on a Commercial Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 kg or more.
- Not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command of a Commercial Air Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 kg or more.
- Must have a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) endorsement on an ATPL for commercial aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 kg or more.
- 10 years or more of experience on Commercial Air Transport Aircraft as a Pilot.
- Experience in operational management is a plus, preferably with a background in airline operations, safety management or regulatory oversight.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, effective communication and report-writing skills, and computer literacy are required.
- Age: Maximum 66 years (including all age relaxations). Quota: Merit (03).
Salary and Contract Period
The selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 1,373,230 per month with a 5% annual increment. The appointment will initially be made for a period of three years, which may be extended.

- Upload a copy of the ATPL containing relevant endorsements, and a copy of the last page of the Log Book containing details of flying hours.
- If the required documents are not uploaded with the online application form, the application will be rejected.
Important Instructions
- Candidates not fulfilling the requirements or submitting an incomplete application will not be considered.
- Tests / interviews will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta, for which separate notices will be issued.
- Candidates called for interview must produce original documents for verification. No TA/DA is admissible for the test / interview.
- Appointment is subject to PCAA’s medical fitness standards, and selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
- Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies or corporations must submit an NOC from their current employer before the interview.
