Eligibility Criteria for pakrail (Railways) Jobs 2026
1. Manager Property and Land — BPS-18
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with PEC registration, having 5 years’ relevant experience in land management or equivalent.
2. Manager Legal — BPS-18
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or MBA or any other relevant degree, having 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
3. Manager Contract — BPS-18
- MBA (Marketing/Finance) or Master of Law (LLM), having 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field (Contract Management).
4. Manager GIS — BPS-18
- Master’s in Geographical Information System from an HEC-recognized university or any other relevant qualification (minimum 16 years of education), having minimum 5–8 years’ relevant experience.
5. Manager Land Revenue — BPS-18
- BA/BSc; retired Deputy Director/Assistant Director/Tehsildar Revenue who has served at least 15 years in the Provincial/Land Revenue Department.
6. Manager Land Commercial — BPS-18
- Bachelor’s in Urban Planning or City & Regional Planning, or MBA Marketing/Finance or any other relevant degree, having 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Geographical Information System from an HEC-recognized university (Master’s in GIS preferred), having minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience (mapping of lands, cartography, geo-referencing, spatial analysis, revenue-record analysis, geo-database maintenance).
14. Assistant Developer GIS — BPS-16
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Geographical Information System from an HEC-recognized university (Master’s in GIS preferred), having minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience (mapping, cartography, geo-referencing, spatial analysis, geo-database maintenance).
15. Inspector Land Revenue — BPS-16
- BA/BSc; retired Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar or Qanoongo Revenue who has served at least 10 years in the Provincial Revenue Department.
16. Inspector Anti Encroachment — BPS-16
- BA/BSc; ex-Army Officer up to the rank of Subedar Major, or retired Assistant Director/Anti-encroachment Cell from the District Government.
17. Inspector Licensing — BPS-16
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Marketing) or any other relevant qualification, having 3 years’ post-qualification experience in marketing (preferably real estate & land management sector).

Quota
Candidates must apply as per their educational qualification, experience and region (domicile), and the advertised vacancies are allocated across the Merit, Punjab, Sindh (Urban), Sindh (Rural), KPK and Balochistan quotas as detailed in the advertisement. Candidates meeting the criteria may apply for more than one category.
General Instructions
- Eligibility will be determined on the basis of qualification, relevant experience, and performance in the written test and interview (70% written test + 30% interview).
- Candidates serving in Railways or any other government department must apply through the proper channel with a departmental NOC.

Fringe Benefits & Facilities
