Eligibility Criteria for MES Jobs (August) 2026
1. Principal Architect (BS-19)
- Qualification: Ph.D., MS, or Second Class / Grade C Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architecture & Planning, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC / PCATP.
- Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience with Ph.D.; 10 years with MS; or 12 years with a foreign Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architecture & Planning from a public or private sector organization.
- Age: 32 to 40 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Registration: Registration with Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners (PCATP) is required up to the closing date.
2. Senior Architect (BS-18)
- Qualification: Second Class / Grade C Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architecture & Planning, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC / PCATP.
- Experience: 5 years post-qualification experience in Architecture from a public or private sector organization.
- Age: 25 to 35 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Registration: Registration with Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners (PCATP) is required up to the closing date.
3. Senior Interior Designer (BS-18)
- Qualification: Second Class / Grade C Master’s or Bachelor’s degree of 4 years duration in Interior Design or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC.
- Experience: 5 years post-qualification experience in Interior Designing from a public or private sector organization.
- Age: 25 to 35 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.
Application Fee
- BS-18 posts: Rs. 1,500
- BS-19 posts: Rs. 2,500
- The fee is to be deposited on or before the closing date against the FPSC-generated PSID through the available payment channels, including ATM, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash and other supported options.
General Instructions
- Eligibility will be determined according to the FPSC’s applicable recruitment policy and general instructions.
- Applicants must provide a valid and active email address in the online application.
- Communication with candidates will be made through email and SMS.
- An online application can be edited only once within the closing date to correct an error or omission.
- Information claimed in the online application will be treated as final. Experience not mentioned in the online form cannot subsequently be claimed for eligibility.
- Applicants should check the FPSC website for the syllabus before the screening examination, where applicable.
- No hard copy of the online application is required.
- Manual applications are not accepted for general recruitment cases.
- The upper age limit is relaxed according to the applicable Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993, as amended from time to time.
- Candidates are shortlisted for interview according to FPSC policy.

- Provide a valid and active email address and enter all educational and experience information accurately.
- Generate the prescribed PSID through the FPSC online portal and pay the applicable application fee before the closing date.
- Review the submitted information carefully. Any correction to the online application can be made only once within the closing date.
