Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) has announced job opportunities on a contract basis for August 2026. LESCO invites applications from eligible candidates through M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) to fill various posts on an open contract, market-based lump sum package with a six months’ probation period. A total of 173 vacancies are available across 12 different positions, ranging from Assistant Manager / Junior Engineer to Bill Distributor. These posts cover LESCO’s operational areas of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Nankana districts. General Instructions & Conditions

• All appointments are purely on a contract basis at a market-based lump sum package, non-pensionable, with no long-term benefits, and shall not convert into permanent positions at a later stage.
• For positions at Sr. 3–12, candidates having domicile of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Nankana Sahib districts shall be eligible to apply.
• OTS will charge 50% of the fee from the applicant and the rest will be paid by LESCO; the applicant pays Rs. 80 as the testing fee.
• Only candidates who have completed their degree are eligible to apply; candidates whose final result card has not been issued or result awaited shall not be considered.
• CGPA will be evaluated against the HEC standard chart.
• Candidates already serving in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel; advance copy is acceptable, but the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview without an NOC.
• Serving candidates must have completed 02 years of continuous government service on the closing date.
• Age relaxation is already included in the mentioned age. Further relaxation is allowed only to scheduled castes and Buddhists (3 years) and government servants with 10 years of continuous service (10 years).
• All relevant quotas will be observed against each post; candidates must apply separately for each post.
• Minimum passing marks in the written test is 50%.
• Only qualified candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the written test.
• Selected candidates can be posted anywhere within the jurisdiction of LESCO as per requirement.
• LESCO reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning a reason.
• Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification and withdrawal of employment and salaries.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the written test / interview.
• Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for LESCO Jobs (August) 2026

Assistant Manager / Junior Engineer (Electrical)

• Qualification: B.Sc. / B.E. Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with 1st Division from HEC-recognized universities.
• Valid PEC registration as an Electrical / Electronic Engineer.
• Age: Up to 33 years.

Assistant Manager (Customer Services)

• Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics) / MA (Statistics / Math / Economics) / M.Com / MBA / M.Sc. (Computer Science), or B.Sc. Engineering (with valid PEC registration) from an HEC-recognized university/institute.
• Age: Up to 33 years.

Line Superintendent-I

• Qualification: Matric plus a 3-year diploma in Electrical Technology (Grade “B”) from a Government Poly-Technical Institute.
• Experience: 03 years of the trade in a supervisory post in any electrical organization.
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Head Clerk / Assistant

• Qualification: Graduation (Humanities, Science, Commerce, Computer) with C-Grade / 50% marks, plus a 03-months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) from NITB / TEVTA or an institution recognized by the Board of Technical Education / HEC.
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Commercial Assistant

• Qualification: B.A / B.Sc. / BCS / B.Com with 1st Division from any HEC-recognized institution, plus a 3-months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) from NITB / TEVTA or a recognized institution.
• Preference: Candidates with 16 years of education in Commerce and Accounting or equivalent.
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Line Superintendent-II

• Qualification: Matric with a 3-year diploma in Electrical / Electronic from a Government Polytechnic Institute (Grade-B).
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Upper Division Clerk / Senior Clerk

• Qualification: B.A / B.Sc. / Associate degree (02 years after Intermediate) with at least 2nd Division.
• Certificate: At least 03-months MS Office from a recognized institute / organization (TEVTA / PBTE / NITB).
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Lower Division Clerk / Junior Clerk

• Qualification: HSSC / Intermediate / I.Com with at least 2nd Division.
• Typing speed of 40 WPM on PC.
• Certificate: At least 03-months MS Office from a recognized institute / organization (TEVTA / PBTE / NITB).
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Meter Reader

• Qualification: HSSC (Arts, Commerce or Science or equivalent) from a recognized Board.
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Driver

• Qualification: Matric with five years’ post-license driving experience and a valid LTV / HTV license.
• Age: 25 to 35 years.

Tracer

• Qualification: Matriculate (or equivalent) with drawing as one of the subjects from a recognized board, OR Matriculate with a post-matric diploma in tracing from a recognized board.
• Age: Up to 30 years.

Bill Distributor

• Qualification: Matriculate.
• Age: Up to 30 years.

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the OTS website www.ots.org.pk for online registration and submission of the application form.
2. Pay the test fee of Rs. 80 per applicant by logging into your banking app, selecting “1-Bill Payment”, entering your PSID, verifying the details and completing the payment.
3. Upload scanned copies of all educational documents, CNIC (front and back), domicile, experience certificate (where required), PEC registration certificate (where required) and a recent photograph through the online portal.
4. Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be entertained.
5. After applying, regularly check the OTS website and applicant portal for the Roll No. Slip, written test schedule and result announcements.

Application Deadline

The last date for receipt of applications for LESCO jobs 2026 is 18 August 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
