The Information Technology & Innovation Department (ITID), Government of the Punjab has announced job opportunities for the year 2026. Applications are invited from highly qualified, dynamic and experienced professionals holding a Punjab domicile for appointment on a contract basis in two development projects — “Innovate Punjab – Leaders of Frontier Tech Incubators” and the “Punjab Frontier Tech Skills Acceleration & ICT for Girls Project”.

About the Department & Projects

The Information Technology & Innovation Department (ITID), Government of the Punjab, is driving the province’s digital transformation through frontier technology projects. The “Innovate Punjab – Leaders of Frontier Tech Incubators” project will establish incubation centres in six districts (Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur and Gujranwala) to foster entrepreneurship, promote industry-academia collaboration and support technology-driven startups. The “Frontier Tech Skills Acceleration & ICT for Girls Project” is an LMS-based initiative delivering online training programs, developing frontier technology skills and empowering girls through enhanced access to ICT education.

Eligibility Criteria — Innovate Punjab (Frontier Tech Incubators)

1. Project Director / Program Head (PPS-11)

• Qualification: Master’s in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Project Management, Public Policy or a related field.
• Experience: 10–15 years in program / project management, entrepreneurship ecosystem or large-scale projects, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

2. Manager Operations (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in operations or program execution, with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.

3. Manager Partnerships & Investment (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Business, Finance or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in investment, partnerships or business development; a strong network in the startup ecosystem is preferred.

4. Manager Communications & Outreach (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in content management, branding and outreach.

5. Manager Monitoring & Evaluation (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Economics, Data Analytics, Project Management, IT or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in M&E or data analysis, with strong analytical and reporting skills.

6. Manager Finance & Accounts (PPS-10)

• Qualification: CA / ACCA / ACMA / MBA Finance or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in financial management; knowledge of public sector financial procedures is preferred.

7. Manager Procurement & Contracts (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, CA / ACCA or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in public sector procurement / familiarity with PPRA rules and contract management.

8. Manager Startup Programs (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Business, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in business establishment, product creation, incubation, acceleration or startup ecosystem, with a strong understanding of the startup lifecycle.

9. IT Data Assistant Manager (PPS-09)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in IT, Data Science or a related field.
• Experience: 4–6 years in data systems, dashboards and analytics tools.

10. Admin & HR Officer (PPS-09)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in HR, Administration or a related field.
• Experience: 4–6 years in HR and office management, with strong organizational skills.

Eligibility Criteria — ICT for Girls Project

1. Project Director / Program Head (PPS-11)

• Qualification: Master’s in Business, Public Policy, Project Management, Economics or a related field.
• Experience: 10–15 years in program / project management, preferably in the public sector, with large-scale projects in mid-tier to senior positions and strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

2. Manager Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Master’s in Information Technology, PMP, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in M&E or data analysis.

3. Manager Finance & Accounts (PPS-10)

• Qualification: CA / ACCA / MBA / BBA / Finance / Commerce or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in financial management; knowledge of public sector financial procedures and reporting is preferred.

4. Manager Procurement & Contracts (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Supply Chain / Procurement / CA / ACCA / Commerce or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in public sector procurement / familiarity with PPRA rules and contract management.

5. Assistant Manager IT & Data (PPS-09)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s in IT / Data Science or a related field.

6. Project Assistant (PPS-06) — 2 Posts

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in IT / Software / Computer or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years’ relevant experience / proficiency in using computer applications and software.

• The appointment will be on a contract basis, initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable as per rules / requirement.
