The Office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kohat, is the principal district administration office responsible for revenue administration, coordination and general administration in District Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The current recruitment is for ministerial and revenue staff on a regular basis.

Eligibility Criteria for DC Office (Kohat) Jobs 2026
1. Computer Operator — BPS-16
- Qualification: At least a 2nd-class Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology (BCS/BIT four years or an equivalent CS degree, with an HEC equivalence certificate) from a recognized university; OR at least a 2nd-class Bachelor’s degree (14 or 16 years) from a recognized university with a one-year Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
- Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.
2. Junior Scale Stenographer — BPS-14
- Qualification: At least a 2nd-class Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized board; a shorthand speed of 50 words per minute in English and a typing speed of 35 words per minute; and knowledge of computer using MS Word and MS Excel.
- Age Limit: 20 to 32 years.
3. Junior Clerk — BPS-11
- Qualification: FA/F.Sc with 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized board; and a typing speed of 30 words per minute.
- Quota: Open Merit 1, Minority Quota 3.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.
4. Patwari — BPS-09
- Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent qualification, having passed the Patwar Examination.
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 years.
General Instructions
- All eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the ETEA computer-based screening test; detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the competent authority, and any ineligible candidate will be rejected.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- Shortlisting will be based on marks obtained in the ETEA screening test and the prescribed academic examinations, as per the rules of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Interview intimation will be sent via SMS; candidates must not change their mobile number until recruitment is complete.
- Age will be reckoned as on the closing date for applications, with upper-age relaxation as per the prevailing rules.
- In-service government/semi-government candidates must apply through the proper channel.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
- Applicants holding a foreign degree must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.
- Do not send any documents to ETEA; roll-number slips will be issued via SMS/the ETEA website.
How to Apply
- Create a profile on the ETEA website and generate the fee deposit slip.
- Pay the test fee via Easypaisa or any UBL Bank branch (the fee is non-refundable), and retain the original deposit slip.
- Complete the online application.
