The Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (Daanish Schools Authority) has announced job opportunities for the year 2026, inviting applications from qualified professionals for appointment as Principals and Teachers at Daanish Schools in Bagh and Bhimber (AJK) and Ghanche, Sultanabad and Astore (Gilgit-Baltistan), on a contract basis.
Positions are available for Principals (05, one per school) and 13 categories of subject teachers (04 posts per school, 02 male and 02 female each) across the five Daanish Schools. Applications are submitted online only through the Education Testing Council (ETC). Complete details of each post, eligibility criteria and the application process are given below.

Eligibility Criteria for Daanish Schools (AJK & Gilgit) Jobs 2026
Principal
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education — Master’s degree (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 17 years’ experience as a Principal or senior faculty member, preferably in a reputable institution, with strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of school administration, and proficiency in managing a state-of-the-art school and in English communication.
- Age Limit: Up to 63 years.
Subject Teachers
- Qualification: 16 years of education (Master’s / BS / BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons)) in the relevant subject, minimum 2nd Division; where CGPA is prescribed, minimum 2.50/4.00 or 3.50/5.00 from an HEC-recognized institution. M.Ed/B.Ed will be given due advantage, and good English communication skills are required. (For the Islamiyat post, a Shahadat-ul-Alamia from Wafaq-ul-Madaris/Tanzeem-ul-Madaris is also acceptable; for the Montessori post, a Montessori Training Diploma/Certificate is an advantage.)
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
General Instructions
- Recruitment will be made purely on merit.
- A Principal appointed by the Authority will be liable to serve at any Daanish School anywhere in Pakistan.
- Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for test and/or interview; no TA/DA will be admissible.
- The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, withhold appointment, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
- The recruitment process will be conducted through the Education Testing Council (ETC), HEC; candidates must apply online only through the ETC/HEC portal (no hard-copy applications).
- Serving government/semi-government/autonomous body employees must apply through the proper channel and produce an NOC.
- A test fee of Rs. 1,200 is payable through the 1link/1Bill Invoice Payment Service; the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Candidates must bring their original CNIC/passport on the test day with the ETC roll-number slip.

- Enter all required information correctly, and pay the Rs. 1,200 fee through the 1link/1Bill invoice, then verify the payment on the ETC dashboard.
- Applications by hand, courier or email will not be accepted.
