The 55 EME Battalion, based at Pano Aqil Cantt, is a unit of the Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (EME) of the Pakistan Army. Eligibility Criteria for 55 EME Battalion (Pano Aqil) Jobs 2026
1. HSM Electrician (AFD) — BPS-10
- Qualification: Intermediate, with a 3-year diploma including auto-electrician; preference to candidates with 5 years’ experience with heavy vehicles. Work includes heavy-vehicle wiring and reporting of electrician parts.
2. HSM Vehicle — BPS-10
- Qualification: Intermediate, with a 3-year mechanical diploma; preference to candidates with 3 years’ experience.
3. HSM Electronics — BPS-10
- Qualification: Intermediate, with knowledge of all branches of the trade and practical experience; the role involves junior-level supervision, fault training and related parts reporting.
4. HSN Vehicle — BPS-07
- Qualification: Intermediate, with a 3-year mechanical diploma; preference to candidates with 3 years’ experience.
5. HSN Electrician (Vehicle) — BPS-07
- Qualification: Intermediate; diploma holders preferred, with practical work experience and skill.
6. HSN Electronics — BPS-07
- Qualification: Intermediate; candidates with a diploma in the relevant field preferred.
General Instructions
- Applications on the prescribed form, along with attested copies of testimonials, CNIC, two passport-size photographs and domicile, must reach within 15 days of publication.
- The disabled and minority quotas will be observed as per government policy.
- In-service government candidates must apply through the proper channel.
- A bank draft of Rs. 500 in the name of the Adjutant, 55 EME Battalion, Pano Aqil Cantt, must be attached for all posts above BPS-04.
- Age limit is 18 to 30 years (within 15 days of publication), with general age relaxation of 5 years (up to a maximum of 10 years); ex-military candidates get relaxation up to 15 years (maximum age 45), and eligible contract employees who served two continuous years may receive relaxation up to 10 years (maximum age 55).
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
