About the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Malakand
The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Malakand, heads the district judiciary for District Malakand under the Peshawar High Court. Eligibility Criteria for District & Session Judge (Malakand) Jobs 2026
1. Junior Scale Stenographer — BPS-14
- Qualification: Intermediate or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Shorthand: Shorthand speed of 50 words per minute.
- Typing: Typing speed of 35 words per minute.
- Skill: Proficiency in MS Office will be preferred.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.
2. Junior Clerk — BPS-11
- Qualification: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Skill: Typing proficiency; proficiency in MS Office will be preferred.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.
General Instructions
- Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the information provided; detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority, and any ineligible candidate will be disqualified.
- All candidates must create a profile on the ETEA website and get their CNIC verified at a NADRA E-Sahulat franchise before depositing the fee.
- The age limit will be reckoned as on 1 January 2026, with upper-age relaxation as per the prevailing rules.
- In-service candidates from any government organization must apply through the proper channel and submit an NOC before appointment.
- Applicants holding a foreign degree must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.
- Candidates must bring their original documents at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
- Incomplete applications, and applications with fake documents/false information, will be rejected at any stage.
- All reserved quotas will be subject to the approval/NOC of the Finance Department, Peshawar.

- After successful submission, a deposit slip with your token number and details will be generated.
- Deposit the non-refundable test fee via the Easypaisa app/agent or any branch of UBL Bank, and retain the original deposit slip.
- Submit the online application on or before 18 September 2026.
Application Deadline
The online application form is available from 18 August 2026, and the last date for submission of applications is 18 September 2026. No separate call letter will be issued by post/courier; roll number slips are downloaded from www.etea.edu.pk after SMS intimation. Candidates are advised to apply well in advance.
