About BISE Faisalabad

The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE), Faisalabad, is a provincial examination body under the Government of Punjab. It is responsible for conducting Secondary School Certificate (Matric) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate) examinations and for regulating affiliated schools and colleges within its jurisdiction. This recruitment for IT and administrative posts is being conducted on its behalf by the Punjab Public Service Commission.

Eligibility Criteria for PPSC BISE Faisalabad Jobs 2026

1. Computer Programmer — BS-17 (Case No. 16-RA/2026)

• Qualification: M.Sc Computer Sciences or BS (4 years) Computer Sciences with a minimum of 45% marks from an HEC-recognized institution, with three years’ experience of programming.
• Preference: Candidates with knowledge and experience of programming and relational database management systems such as Oracle and MS SQL.
• Note: Only practical experience acquired after the prescribed qualification will be counted.
• Age Limit: Male 21–35 years, Female 21–38 years (including relaxation).
• Domicile: Any district of Punjab (All Punjab basis).

2. Junior Computer Programmer — BS-16 (Case No. 17-RA/2026)

• Qualification: M.Sc or BS (4 years) Computer Science or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% marks from an HEC-recognized institution, with one year’s practical experience of web programming/designing.
• Preference: Candidates with knowledge and experience of programming and relational database management systems such as Oracle and MS SQL.
• Note: Only practical experience acquired after the prescribed qualification will be counted.
• Age Limit: Male 21–35 years, Female 21–38 years (including relaxation).
• Domicile: Any district of Punjab (All Punjab basis).

3. Deputy Secretary / Deputy Controller — BS-18 (Case No. 20-RA/2026)

• Qualification (Option A): Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks and five years’ experience of academic/administration, preferably in a Management Information System.
• Qualification (Option B): Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks and seven years’ experience of academic/administration, preferably in a Management Information System.
• Note: Only teaching/administrative experience acquired after the prescribed qualification will be counted.
• Age Limit: Male 21–40 years, Female 21–43 years (including relaxation).
• Domicile: Any district of Punjab (All Punjab basis).

4. Assistant Secretary / Assistant Controller — BS-17 (Case No. 22-RA/2026)

• Qualification (Option A): Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks and one year’s experience of academic/administration, preferably in a Management Information System.
• Qualification (Option B): Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks and three years’ experience of academic/administration, preferably in a Management Information System.
• Note: Only teaching/administrative experience acquired after the prescribed qualification will be counted.
• Age Limit: Male 21–35 years, Female 21–38 years (including relaxation).
• Domicile: Any district of Punjab (All Punjab basis).

Written Test / Selection Process

If held, the written examination consists of one MCQ-type paper of 100 marks and 90 minutes’ duration. For the two Computer Programmer posts, the syllabus is based entirely on qualification-related questions (100%). For the Deputy Secretary/Deputy Controller and Assistant Secretary/Assistant Controller posts, it is a General Ability test (100%) covering General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies.

General Instructions

• Candidates should read the “Important Instructions” regarding application fee, written test and interview on the PPSC website before applying online.
• Test schedules and syllabus, if any, are issued only on the official PPSC website, which candidates should visit frequently.
• Employees of the Federal Government, semi-government, autonomous bodies and local bodies are not entitled to age concession for their period of service in such organizations.
• Candidates claiming an equivalent qualification must submit an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC or the relevant Q.E.D.C. at the time of interview, failing which their candidature may be cancelled.
• Candidates claiming private-sector experience must provide proof at the interview that the firm/entity is registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms, or another regulatory authority.
• In-service candidates must obtain or apply for NOC/DPC from their department and provide it at the time of interview (if called).
• Candidates must obtain or apply for the required registration certificate from the relevant regulatory body on or before the closing date.
• The Shorthand Test and Typing & Proficiency Test, if required, will only be held at Lahore.
• In case of any variation (increase/decrease) in the number of posts, no fresh applications will be invited.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs. 600, which must be paid digitally against a 17-digit PSID (Payment Slip ID) generated on the official PPSC portal. Payment can be made through the approved mediums — ATMs, mobile phone banking, internet banking, over the counter at 1-Link member bank branches, JazzCash, Easypaisa, U Paisa and other available micro-finance banks — on or before the closing date.
