Huge Job vacancies of 2017 in Punjab Public Service Commission which is also known as PPSC. PPSC Jobs 2017 are available. It’s an advertisement no.09/2017. Every Week, they announce job vacancies in PPSC departments. Now, they are recruiting more than 2800 individuals in three departments which are Agriculture Department, Population Welfare Department, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. As i said above, There are more than 2800 vacancies available so it’s a huge job opportunities for Punjab applicants. It’s the golden chance for all the candidate which are from Punjab. Applicants must have a domicile of punjab. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply. There are 3 posts in 3 departments. Post names are Field Assistant, Assistant Director / Deputy District Population Welfare Officer / Tehsil Population Welfare Officer, and Charge Nurse. Just have a look at below short table for removing confusion about qualification against the posts:
- For Field Assistant (BS-11), Matriculation with science is required along with 3 years of diploma in Agriculture Sciences (DAS).
- For Assistant Director / Deputy District Population Welare Officer / Tehsil Population Welfare Officer (BS-17), Master’s qualification is required in Sociology, Social Work, MPA, MBA, Antheropology, Gender Studies, Economics, Statistics or Population Studies. OR BA or BSc (4 year) degree holders are eligible to apply.
- For Charge Nurse (BS-16), Bachelors (BSc in Nursing Generic (Four Years) is required Or Diploma in Nursing, Applicants must have registration from Pakistan Nursing Council.

694 Posts for Field Assistant.
45 Posts For Assistant Director.
2100 Posts for Charge Nurse
Age limit:
Age limit from 18 to 30 is required for Field Assistant. Age limit from 21 to 28 is required for Assistant Director and Charge Nurse. 5 years of age relaxation will be given to Male and 8 years of age relaxation will be given to Female.
Location:
It’s a PPSC job, so your posting most probably will be in anywhere in the Punjab for Assistant Director and Field Assistant Posts. Charge Nurse posting will be in Hospitals and Nursing Educational Institutions in Punjab.
Reserved Quota:
Disabled Persons, Minorities, and Women Quota are reserved 167, 140, and 458 posts respectively. Keep in mind, I’m not including 1932 posts of Charge Nurse in Women quota because Charge Nurse post is only for Females, so It’s a mind blowing opportunity for our sisters to join PPSC as a Charge Nurse.
Test Procedure:
Written Test (MCQ) will be taken which is for 100 marks. Applicants has to complete this test in 90 minutes. Your syllabus will be according to your job position and It will contain General Knowledge, Pst, Current affairs, maths, etc subject MCQs.
