The Jinnah Institute of Cardiology (JIC), Lahore, an autonomous body under the Punjab Specialized Medical Institutions Act (2025), has announced job opportunities for the year 2026. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for appointment against various medical, nursing, administrative and technical posts on a lump-sum contract (tenure) basis for three years.
A total of 397 vacancies are available across 28 posts — ranging from Senior Consultants, Deputy Hospital Directors and Charge Nurses to Computer Operators, Sub-Engineers and support staff — on the institution’s IPS pay scales at Lahore. Application Guidelines
- The application form can be downloaded from the official link or QR code, or obtained from the General Reception (Ground Floor), JIC, Lahore.
- The completed form, clearly mentioning the post applied for, along with attested copies of all relevant documents (including an equivalence certificate if applicable), must be submitted to the General Reception by the deadline.
- Applications sent via post/TCS must also reach before the deadline.
- Government servants must apply through proper channel.
- Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC or PM&DC (erstwhile PMC).
- Quotas: 5% for minorities and 3% for persons with disabilities, as per government rules.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA is admissible.
- Appointment is subject to verification of educational degrees and experience certificates (cost borne by the candidate).
- The competent authority reserves the right to cancel, increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage.
