Sindh Police Jobs 2026 – Apply Online for 3285 Vaccancies

The Police Department, Government of Sindh, has announced job opportunities for the year 2026, inviting fresh applications from the legal heirs of Shaheed, Deceased, and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated police employees (holding domicile of the concerned ranges of Sindh province) for recruitment against reserved-quota posts in Sindh Police.

A total of 3,285 posts are available across two recruitment advertisements — 139 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (BPS-11) and 3,146 posts of Head Constable (Wireless Operator, BPS-09), Police Constable (BPS-07) and Driver Police Constable (BPS-07) — under the Shaheed, Deceased, and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota. Applications are submitted online via STS (for ASI) or by post to the Central Police Office (for Head Constable/Constable/Driver Constable). About the Recruitment

This recruitment is against the reserved Shaheed, Deceased, and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota in Sindh Police, under the Sindh Police (Shaheed, Deceased, and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota) Recruitment Rules, 2021. Following the judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan in Civil Petition No. 3390 of 2021 and the subsequent notification of the Government of Sindh, fresh applications are invited from the eligible legal heirs of such police employees who hold domicile of the concerned ranges of Sindh province.

Eligibility Criteria for Sindh Police Jobs (August) 2026

1. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) — BPS-11

  • Qualification: Graduation, 2nd Division, from a recognized university.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 28 years (as on the last date of submission of online applications).
  • Physical Standard (Male): Height 5 feet 5 inches (minimum); chest minimum 33 inches with 1.5-inch expansion.
  • Physical Standard (Female): Height 5 feet, with sound health.
  • Physical Endurance Test: Male — 1,600 metres running in 8 minutes; Female — 800 metres walk in 14 minutes.

2. Head Constable (Wireless Operator) — BPS-09

  • Qualification: Intermediate from a recognized Board of Intermediate Education.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years (as on the last date of submission of online applications).
  • Physical Standard (Male): Height 5 feet 5 inches (minimum); chest minimum 33 inches with 1.5-inch expansion. (Female): Height 5 feet, with sound health.
  • Physical Endurance Test: Male — 1,600 metres running in 8 minutes; Female — 800 metres walk in 14 minutes.

3. Police Constable — BPS-07

  • Qualification: Matric from a recognized Board of Secondary Education.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.
  • Physical Standard & Endurance: Same as Head Constable (Male: 5’5″, chest 33″+1.5″, 1,600m/8min; Female: 5’, 800m walk/14min).

4. Driver Police Constable — BPS-07

  • Qualification: Matric from a recognized Board of Secondary Education; candidates must have a valid Motor Car Driving licence as on the closing date, and must obtain an LTV licence within the 3-year probation period.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.
  • Physical Endurance Test: Male — 1,600 metres running in 10 minutes; Female — 800 metres walk in 14 minutes.

Quota Eligibility Conditions

  • Only legal heirs of Deceased and Permanently Incapacitated police employees who died, were permanently invalidated or incapacitated on or before 26.09.2024, and who hold domicile of the province of Sindh, are eligible.
  • Legal heirs of Shaheed police employees who attained martyrdom up to the closing date and possess domicile of the concerned Range of Sindh are eligible to apply under the Shaheed Quota.
  • A second claim against the Shaheed Quota will be entertained only for legal heirs whose fathers, brothers or husbands embraced shahadat after the promulgation of the Shaheed Act 2014 (i.e., 11.06.2014).
  • Candidates whose father/mother died or was invalidated before 02.09.2002 are not entitled to recruitment against the Deceased/Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota.
  • Candidates whose father/mother died or was invalidated on or after 16.09.2014 must apply within two years of the death/invalidation of the employee.
  • The reserved quota will be utilized first for the Shaheed category, followed by the deceased and permanently incapacitated categories, as per the Recruitment Rules 2021.

Important Instructions

  • No relaxation in upper age limit, qualification and eligibility criteria will be granted.
  • Providing fictitious, exaggerated or misleading information will result in rejection of the application and can lead to termination of employment at any stage.
  • Original certificates will be verified only for candidates called for tests/interview; any false declaration will lead to automatic disqualification.
  • The date, time and venue of all tests will be intimated through SMS and uploaded on the Sindh Police / STS website, so candidates must visit the portal from time to time.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
  • Candidates will undergo physical, written and (for Driver Constable) driving tests and interviews; only candidates qualifying the physical test will be called for the written test.
  • Sindh Police reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
  • Candidates who do not fulfil the given criteria are advised not to submit an online application.

Application Fee (ASI)

For the ASI post, after completing the online application candidates can download a system-generated challan of Rs. 1,500 (non-refundable), payable at any ABL Bank Ltd branch, via the MyABL app, or through the internet banking portal of any 1Bill-linked bank using the 1Bill reference number.

  • CNIC (front & back), Domicile and PRC/Form-D.
  • Recent photograph(s) and academic documents.
  • Death Certificate, Obituary & Heirship Certificate of the Deceased/Shaheed employee (or the order for permanently invalidated/incapacitated employees, for the invalidated quota).
  • Declaration of Shaheed, FIR, and Financial Compensation order (for Shaheed Quota only).
  • Affidavit of spouse/widow and other legal heirs of the Shaheed/Deceased employee.

How to Apply

  1. For ASI (BPS-11): Complete the online application/registration on the SIBA Testing Services (STS) portal at https://apply.sts.net.pk, upload the required documents, and pay the Rs. 1,500 challan.
  2. For Head Constable, Police Constable & Driver Police Constable: Download the application form from the Sindh Police website (www.sindhpolice.gov.pk), attach attested copies of all required documents, and send it to the Central Police Office (CPO), I.I. Chundrigar Road, Lalazar, Karachi, through registered post/courier.
  3. Ensure you meet the quota eligibility conditions before applying.

Application Deadline

The last date for submission of online applications, and the date on which the applicant’s age will be calculated, is 15 October 2026. No application will be entertained after the last date, so candidates are advised to apply well in advance.
