About Gujranwala Waste Management Company (GWMC)
The Gujranwala Waste Management Company (GWMC) was established under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 with the vision of modernizing the solid-waste management system in Gujranwala Division. It is responsible for the collection, transportation and disposal of solid waste and related sanitation operations across the division. The current opening is a project-based Monitoring Officer (IT) role deployed across the division’s tehsils.

Eligibility Criteria for GWMC (Gujranwala) Jobs 2026
1. Monitoring Officer (IT)
- Qualification: Minimum 14 years of education in Computer Sciences, Project Management or Data Sciences (degree recognized by the HEC).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Management & Analysis Operations or Monitoring & Evaluation of Projects.
- Age Limit: 23 to 34 years.
- Domicile: A valid Punjab domicile is mandatory; local residents will be given preference.
General Instructions
- The appointment duration is 85 days.
- Local residents will be given preference; however, GWMC reserves the right to depute selected candidates anywhere within Gujranwala Division.
- A valid domicile is mandatory; applicants may obtain a domicile through the Government of Punjab’s Dastak Doorstep Delivery service by calling 1202 or via the Dastak app.
- All applications must be submitted online at the Punjab Job Portal; no application by hand or email will be accepted.
- The recruitment and selection process is strictly transparent and merit-based; any attempt to influence the process will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible.
