Eligibility Criteria for UET (Mardan) Jobs 2026
1. Lecturer (Electrical Engineering) — BPS-18
- Qualification: Master’s Degree (First Class) in Electrical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with no 3rd division in the academic career.
- Registration: PEC registration in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years (age relaxation as per government rules on a case-to-case basis).
- Tenure: The contract appointment is initially for six months, extendable up to a maximum of three years or until the arrival of a regularly appointed employee on the same sanctioned post, whichever is earlier.
Application Fee
A non-refundable test fee is payable via the Easypaisa app, an Easypaisa agent, or any branch of UBL Bank using the deposit slip generated on the ETEA portal. After qualifying the ETEA test, shortlisted candidates must submit a processing fee of Rs. 2,000 deposited in the University account titled “Miscellaneous Fund UETM” (Branch Code 0179, Account No. 003001354859) at any branch of the Bank of Khyber, within 15 days of the intimation of results.
Selection Process
Candidates must apply online through ETEA and appear in the ETEA screening test. Those who qualify the written test will be required to submit the University application form (available at www.uetmardan.edu.pk) along with attested educational testimonials, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile, a recent photograph and the Rs. 2,000 processing fee within 15 days of the intimation of results. Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for the demonstration and interview.
General Instructions
- Candidates must create a profile on the ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk), print the E-Sahulat token, and get their CNIC verified at a NADRA E-Sahulat franchise before applying.
- No separate call letter will be issued by post or courier; the test date, time and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip, which is downloaded from the ETEA website after SMS intimation.
- Candidates must not provide ported/converted mobile numbers.
- In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate.
- Applicants holding foreign degrees must provide an HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate before the closing date.
- Only qualifications, experience and publications supported by documentary proof up to the last date of application will be considered.
- Any fake, forged or ambiguous document will lead to rejection and possible legal action.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test and interview.
- The University reserves the right to withhold, cancel, postpone, increase, decrease or not fill any advertised post without assigning any reason.
How to Apply
- Create a profile on the ETEA website at www.etea.edu.pk and print the E-Sahulat token.
- Get your CNIC verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (kiosk).
- Complete the online application; a deposit slip with your token number and details will be generated.
- Deposit the non-refundable test fee via Easypaisa or any UBL branch using the generated slip, and retain the original deposit slip.
Application Deadline
The online application form is available from 25 August 2026, and the last date for submission of applications for the ETEA test is 15 September 2026. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained, so candidates are advised to apply well in advance.
