Eligibility Criteria for PO Box 2814 (Islamabad) Jobs 2026

1 & 2. Junior Assistant-II (Cashier / Receptionist)

• Qualification: FA / FSc / I.Com / D.Com, along with a 6-month Office Automation Course.
• Note: Relevant experience will be preferred; a trade test will also be conducted.

3. Data Entry Operator

• Qualification (Option A): Matric with Science (at least second division), with a 6-month computer course and a speed of at least 5,000 key depressions per hour on the computer, plus 2 years’ experience after acquiring the computer proficiency.
• Qualification (Option B): Matric with Computer Science (at least second division), with a speed of at least 5,000 depressions per hour and 2 years’ experience after acquiring the proficiency.
• Note: A skill test will be conducted.

4. Cook — Categories: Chinese/Continental, Fast Food, Bar-B-Que, Pakistani, Baker

• Qualification (Option A): Middle pass with 10 years’ experience in the related field.
• Qualification (Option B): Matric pass with 5 years’ experience in the related field.
• Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in five-star hotels or the Pakistan Navy.

5. Waiter

• Qualification (Option A): Middle pass with 10 years’ experience in the related field.
• Qualification (Option B): Matric pass with 5 years’ experience in the related field.
• Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in five-star hotels or the Pakistan Navy.

6. Technical-III — Categories: Electrician, Carpenter/Welder, Mason

• Qualification: Matric with Science (at least second division), with a relevant technical qualification and 6 years’ experience in the related field after acquiring the qualification.
• Note: Relaxation in the education requirement may be considered in case of additional experience.

7. Mess Attendant — Categories: Tandoorchi, Dish Washer

• Qualification: Literate, with professional skill and practical experience in the field.

General Instructions

• For posts 1 and 2, where first-class educational qualification is prescribed, only one second division in the entire academic career will be acceptable.
• Degrees, diplomas and certificates must be from the HEC, the Board of Technical Education, or other government-approved institutions.
• The required qualification must be obtained before the last date for submission of applications.
• Post-qualification experience means experience gained after obtaining the required qualification, counted up to the last date.
• The maximum age limit is 35 years, with age relaxation admissible as per government rules; age will be reckoned on the last date of application.
• Candidates already in government/semi-government/autonomous organizations must apply through the proper channel.
• Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting; where more candidates apply, only the most eligible will be shortlisted.
