About the CA4I Project — Special Branch Punjab Police
The “Construction of Advanced Analytics, Automation & Artificial Intelligence (CA4I)” is a technology project of the Special Branch, Punjab Police, aimed at building modern data analytics, automation and AI capabilities to support intelligence and law-enforcement functions. The project is recruiting specialized IT, data, development and management professionals on a contract basis, purely on suitability and merit.

Eligibility Criteria for Special Branch (Punjab Police) CA4I Jobs 2026
1. Software Architect Expert
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science / Software / Computer Engineering or a related field (a degree from a foreign institution will be preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Senior Software Engineer, with expertise in software development, scripting and project management, strong command of programming languages and frameworks (Python, PHP, Node.js, React.js, Java/J2EE), full-stack development, and relational / NoSQL databases.
- Age: 25–45 years.
2. Social Media Expert
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science / Software / Computer Engineering or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive professional experience in IT, social media analytics and computer science-driven research (cyber security / social media forensics certification preferred).
- Age: 25–45 years.
3. Data Scientist
- Qualification: 16 years of education in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in data engineering, data integration and data pipeline development, with knowledge of SQL / Python, data warehousing and modelling.
- Age: 25–50 years.
4. UI / UX Developer / Designer
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a UI/UX developer, with a portfolio of design projects and knowledge of wireframe / design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Age: 25–45 years.
5. Data Engineer
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, SQL / Python, and relational / NoSQL databases.
- Age: 25–45 years.
6. DevOps Engineer
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a DevOps Engineer, with Linux-based infrastructure, Ruby / Python / Perl / Java, and databases such as MySQL / MongoDB.
- Age: 25–45 years.
7. Full Stack Developer
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: 0–1 year of relevant experience in full-stack web development (fresh graduates with strong academic / internship / project experience may also be considered); knowledge of React.js, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, PHP and Java.
- Age: 23–40 years.
8. Backend Developer
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: 0–1 year of relevant experience in backend / software development (fresh graduates may also be considered); knowledge of server-side technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP, Java) and relational / NoSQL databases.
- Age: 23–40 years.
9. Junior ML Engineer
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: 0–1 year of relevant experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Data Science (fresh graduates may also be considered); proficiency in Python and understanding of ML, deep learning and NLP.
- Age: 23–40 years.
10. Survey Specialist (HR)
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Management Sciences, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Social Sciences or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in survey design, social research, data collection and research analytics.
- Age: 25–45 years.
11. Manager (Finance & Procurement)
- Qualification: 16 years of education in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in project management / implementation / accounting, with knowledge of public sector procurement (PPRA 2014) and dealing with tax authorities.
- Age: 25–45 years.
12. Manager HR (Training & Analysis)
- Qualification: 16 years of education in Social Sciences, Human Resource, Organizational Behavior, Management Sciences or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in HR, training and capacity enhancement, with experience in staffing / recruitment and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Age: 25–45 years.
13. Manager (Admin & Change Management)
- Qualification: 16 years of education in Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Law or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in administration / process development, transition and transformation, and related functions.
- Age: 25–45 years.
General Terms & Conditions
- All positions are offered on a contract basis for the CA4I project of the Special Branch, Punjab, and are post-specific and non-transferable.
- Only candidates having a domicile of Punjab are eligible to apply, and age relaxation is applicable as per the current policy of the Government of Punjab.
- Experience will be calculated on the last date of submission of the application.
- Only degrees recognized by the HEC (or a reputed foreign university with HEC equivalence) on or before the closing date will be considered.
- Candidates already working in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA is admissible.
