Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining interactive dashboards that visualize key media metrics, campaign performance and sentiment analysis, giving senior management timely access to actionable insights.
- Serving as the point of contact for continuous improvement of the media-monitoring dashboards in line with evolving business needs and media trends.
- Acting as focal person for the electronic and social-media monitoring agency, strengthening sentiment analysis, trend detection and content categorization for accurate, real-time reporting.
- Providing in-depth analysis of media coverage using advanced analytics tools, and presenting trends, patterns and emerging topics through clear dashboards.
- Tracking media sentiment, share of voice, tone and narrative shifts relating to SBP and the financial sector across print, electronic and digital platforms.
- Categorizing media stories for archival purposes and ensuring follow-up stories are grouped appropriately.
- Conducting comparative analysis of SBP’s media presence against industry benchmarks to identify strengths, gaps and opportunities.
- Developing standardized reporting frameworks, KPIs and benchmarks to measure media visibility, reputational impact and communication effectiveness.
- Supporting crisis communications and reputational-risk management with timely alerts, escalation insights and rapid analytical briefs.
- Performing any other tasks assigned by senior management from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria for SBP Jobs (August) 2026
1. Data Analyst – Media Monitoring (OG-3)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Media Sciences, Mass Communication, Business Administration or Economics from a reputable HEC-recognized university.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of the advertisement.
- Experience: Minimum five years of relevant work experience; experience in media monitoring, data analytics and digital media monitoring tools will be preferred.
- Location: External Communications Department, Karachi.
