Eligibility Criteria for Market Committee (Qila Didar Singh) Jobs 2026
1. Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator
- Qualification: Intermediate, plus at least a three-month computer training certificate (MS Office and English) from TEVTA or another government-approved institution.
- Skill: Minimum typing speed of 25 WPM.
- Experience: Five years of relevant experience.
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years.
2. Sweeper
- Qualification: Should be healthy, physically fit, and familiar with cleaning/sanitation work.
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years.
General Instructions
- Recruitment of work-charge / contingent paid staff will be carried out and registered in accordance with the Punjab Market Committees Regulations 2026, taking each candidate’s skills into account.
- The appointment is strictly on a work-charge basis (89 days) as per the Schedule of Wages Rate 2025 approved by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.
- Selection will be made on merit as per the Government’s recruitment policy and work-charge / contingent paid staff policy.
- The appointment is temporary in nature and carries no right to permanent appointment or regularization.
- Monthly wages will be paid at the Government-fixed rates under the Daily Wages Schedule 2025.
- Staff are not permitted to take leave without prior notice.
- The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time.
