- Age: Male 18–30 years; Female 18–33 years (including relaxation).

Written Test / Syllabus
- Assistant (BS-16): One MCQ-type General Ability written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes, comprising General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for Non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies.
- Junior Clerk (BS-11): One MCQ-type written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes — general ability (80% approx) plus questions relating to MS Office and computer skills (20% approx).
- For Junior Clerk, only written-qualified candidates will be called for the English Typing & Proficiency test at a ratio of 1:20, and candidates who pass the English Typing Test will be allowed to appear in the English Proficiency Test.
