Eligibility Criteria for NACTA Jobs (July) 2026
Assistant Director (BPS-17)
- Number of Vacancies: 04
- Age Limit: 30 years plus 5 years general age relaxation, making the maximum age 35 years.
- Education: 16 years of education in Peace and Conflict Studies, International Relations (IR), Media & Communication Studies, Strategic Studies, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Digital Forensics from an HEC-approved institution.
- Experience: 0–2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Quota: Merit – 01, Punjab – 02, KP – 01.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Candidates having experience in OSINT, SOCMINT, GEOINT, threat intelligence, digital investigations, online research, and analytical reporting will be considered suitable for the position. Relevant international certificates will be an added advantage.
The advertised position also requires candidates to have knowledge and skills related to developing and managing AI or software applications. Experience in media management, basic administration, education, peace and conflict resolution, narrative building, counter-terrorism, and counter-extremism can also be relevant to the position.
Contract Period
The initial contract will be for a period of six months. According to the advertisement, the contract is likely to become permanent on the basis of satisfactory performance evaluation.
