The Pakistan Land Port Authority (PLPA) has announced a large recruitment drive for 2026, inviting applications from committed and motivated professionals for a wide range of posts on contract basis. Across two advertisements, more than 100 posts are available, ranging from senior management (Director / Deputy Director) to operational, clerical, technical, and security roles in BPS-9 to BPS-19.
Most senior posts are based in Islamabad, while many operational posts are located at PLPA border terminals such as Torkham, Chaman, Sost, Taftan, and Gabd. Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Land Port Authority Jobs (July) 2026
Director (BPS-19)
- Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Age Limit: 30–50 years.
Deputy Director (BPS-18)
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (as required for the post) from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Age Limit: 25–50 years.
Data Analyst (BPS-16)
- BS (16 Years Education) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering.
- Specialization in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML).
- Age Limit: 25–50 years.
Inspector (BPS-16)
- Graduate (14 Years Education).
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in security or management.
- Age Limit: 25–50 years.
Assistant (BPS-15)
- Graduate (14 Years Education).
- Retired Government officials will be preferred.
Network Supervisor / IT Supervisor
- BS (16 Years Education) in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or Software Engineering.
- Relevant professional experience will be preferred.
Stenotypist / UDC / LDC
- Intermediate qualification.
- Typing speed as prescribed in the advertisement.
- Computer literacy is mandatory.
Support Staff
- Qualification ranges from Matric, Intermediate, DAE, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree depending upon the position.
- Relevant experience will be preferred where applicable.

- Appointments will be made purely on contract basis, initially for three years (extendable).
- Retired Government employees may receive age relaxation up to 65 years according to rules.
- Candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan at PLPA border terminals.
- Only one application can be submitted for one post.
- PLPA reserves the right to increase, decrease or cancel any advertised post without assigning any reason.
