Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Energy (Power Division) Jobs 2026
Stenotypist (BPS-14)
- Education: Intermediate.
- Typing Speed: 40 words per minute.
- Shorthand Speed: 80 words per minute in English.
- Computer Skills: Must be computer literate.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (general age relaxation applicable as per government rules).
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (BPS-11)
- Education: Matric.
- Typing Speed: Minimum 30 words per minute.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (general age relaxation applicable as per government rules).
General Instructions
- Applications must be submitted online through the National Job Portal (NJP).
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- Candidates may apply for more than one post by submitting separate applications.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for skill tests and interviews.
- Applicants working in Government departments must apply through the proper channel with a valid NOC.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview.
- Original documents along with attested copies must be produced at the time of interview.
- The Ministry reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage.
- Persons applying under the disability quota must provide the required disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
