The Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), Headquarters Ghazi Road, Lahore, has announced a recruitment program for the post of Sipahi / Sepoy (General Duty). Applications are invited from suitable male Pakistani candidates for enlistment in the Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) under the Pakistan Rangers Recruitment Rules 1968 and ESTA Code (Edition-2015).
A total of 964 posts of Sipahi (General Duty), BPS-05, are available and will be filled on a merit and province-wise quota basis. About Pakistan Rangers (Punjab)
The Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) is a paramilitary force responsible for border security and law and order duties in Punjab and other regions. It periodically recruits young men from across Pakistan as Sipahi (General Duty) and other ranks through a transparent, merit-based and quota-based recruitment process.

Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) Jobs 2026
Sipahi / Sepoy (General Duty)
- Education: Middle pass or higher (candidates with higher qualifications will be preferred).
- Age: 18 to 30 years (as on 28 October 2026). At the final selection stage, the age criterion of 18 to 22 years will apply, subject to government-allowed relaxation.
- Height: 5 ft 6 in or above (full measurement taken at final selection).
- Chest: 33 inches with 1½ inch expansion.
- Weight: 121 pounds (or as per rules).
- Nationality: Pakistani (male).

- All original educational documents and 2 attested photocopies (or school leaving certificate if applicable), attested by the concerned District Education Officer.
- Original CNIC and 2 attested photocopies.
- Original domicile and 2 attested photocopies.
- 4 recent passport-size photographs.
- Government / Semi-Government employees must submit an original NOC from their department at the time of registration; registration is not allowed without an NOC.

Selection Process
- Physical test (with photography / videography of candidates).
- Written examination.
- Interview / physical measurement for shortlisted candidates as per Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) standards.
- Medical examination, including HIV test, Serum ALT, Serum Creatinine, Blood ESR, Blood CP, HB Electrophoresis, LDH Blood Serum and other prescribed tests.
- Issuance of call letter to successful candidates.
- Training: successful candidates will be sent to the Pakistan Rangers Academy, Mandi Bahauddin, for training.
Pay & Allowances
- Sipahi (General Duty): basic pay as per BPS-05, plus ration allowance and other approved federal government allowances.
- Accommodation, or house rent allowance (30% / 45% of basic pay as applicable), will be provided.
- No TA/DA will be admissible during the recruitment process.

- After registration, report to the relevant recruitment / selection centre with your token from 0800 hours on the scheduled date.
- Bring all original documents and attested photocopies, along with 4 passport-size photographs.
- Appear for the physical measurement, written test and subsequent stages as per the schedule.
