Applications are invited from eligible male and female Pakistani citizens for various posts, including Religious Teacher, Lady Rangers (General Duty), Cook, Khakrob and miscellaneous skilled trades, on a merit and provincial-quota basis.
A total of 205 vacancies are available across 5 post categories in BPS-01 to BPS-11. Most posts are filled by postal application to Post Box No. 6080, GPO Lahore, while Lady Rangers candidates report in person at the Rangers Training Centre, Mandi Bahauddin. About Pakistan Rangers (Punjab)
The Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) is a federal paramilitary force operating under the Ministry of Interior, responsible for border security and maintaining law and order in the Punjab region. Its headquarters is located on Zarrar Shaheed Road, Lahore, and it periodically recruits combatant and support staff on merit and provincial-quota basis.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Post-wise)
- Religious Teacher (BPS-11): minimum Shahadat-ul-Aalamia from an HEC-recognized Wafaq-ul-Madaris / Islamic institution; preference to higher education.
- Lady Rangers (Sipahi – General Duty) (BPS-05): minimum Middle pass (preference to Matric / BSN Nursing); Pakistani female citizens.
- Cook (BPS-05): Middle pass with expertise in cooking.
- Khakrob (BPS-01): literate (able to read and write).
- Miscellaneous Skilled Trades (BPS-01): literate, with the relevant trade skill.
General & Physical Standards
- Applicants must be Pakistani citizens (male or female, as per the post).
- Age: 18 to 30 years as on 28 October 2026 (including a 5-year general age relaxation granted by the Government).
- Height (male): minimum 5’6” (preference to taller candidates); chest 33” with 1½” expansion.
- Height (female): minimum 5’4” (preference to taller candidates).
- Candidates dismissed from government/military service, convicted by a court, or declared medically unfit are not eligible.
- Serving government employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

How to Apply
- Lady Rangers (General Duty): report in person with original educational certificates/degrees, CNIC, domicile, two un-attested photocopy sets of documents, PT Shoes for physical test and two passport-size photographs to the Headquarters of Desert Rangers Bahawalpur, between 28 September and 2 October 2026 for registration and selection.
- Religious Teacher, Cook, Khakrob & Skilled Trades: send your application with two complete sets of attested document copies, two passport-size photographs and a self-addressed stamped envelope to Post Box No. 6080, GPO Lahore, via post/courier.

The last date for postal applications (Religious Teacher, Cook, Khakrob and Skilled Trades) is 25 September 2026. Lady Rangers candidates must report in person between 28 September and 2 October 2026.
