Total Posts: There are a total of 52 teaching positions available across different subjects. Each subject has 4 posts – 2 for male candidates and 2 for female candidates. This means women and men both have equal chances to get these jobs.
What Qualifications Do You Need?
To apply for these teaching jobs, you must have the right education. Here are the requirements for different positions:
For Most Teachers (Mathematics, English, Urdu, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Social Studies, General Science, Computer Science, Fine Arts, and Geography):
- Master’s Degree: You must have studied any subject at master’s level (MA, MSc, or M.Ed). The subject should be related to what you want to teach.
- 2nd Division in Bachelor’s: Your Bachelor’s degree should have at least 60% marks or a B grade.
- CGPA Requirement: Your CGPA in the final exam must be 2.50 or higher (on a scale of 4 or 5).
- HEC Recognition: All your degrees must be recognized by the HEC (Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan.
- Extra Qualification: If you have an M.Ed degree, you get extra advantage. This shows you have studied education as a subject.
For Islamic Studies Teacher (Islamiyat):
- Master’s in Islamic Studies: You need a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, with a 2nd division in Bachelor’s.
- Taneem ul Maderis: You can also have a Taneem ul Maderis degree with a 2nd division. Taneem ul Maderis is a traditional Islamic education qualification.
- CGPA Score: Your final CGPA must be 2.50 or higher.
- HEC Recognized: Your degree must be recognized by HEC Pakistan.
For Montessori / General Teacher:
- Any Master’s Degree: You need a Master’s degree in any subject with 2nd division in Bachelor’s.
- CGPA 2.50+: Your CGPA should be at least 2.50.
- HEC Recognition: Degrees must be recognized by HEC.
- Bonus: If you have a Montessori Training Diploma or Certificate, you will get extra points.
Skills Required for All Teachers:
- Good English Communication: You must be able to speak, read, and write English well.
- Urdu Knowledge: You should have a good understanding of Urdu language.
