One-year scholarship program for High School students
Who can apply for a YES scholarship You cant If you..
- are a Pakistani citizen and reside in Pakistan
- have a record of high academic achievement
- are at least 15 years old and not more than 17 years at the time of entering USA (August 1st. 2018)
- qualify English language proficiency test
- will be entering grade 9, 10 or “O” Levels by fall 2018
- are not a U.S citizen or permanent resident, and were not born in the United States
- have not applied for US citizenship
- demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding
to spending a year in the United States!
- Live with an American host family
- Study at a U.S. High School
- Participate in a youth leadership program
- Experience U.S. culture and society
- Improve your English
- Make now friends
- Help Americans learn about your country
The YES Scholarship covers all major expenses, including airfare, room and meats. health insurance and stipend. Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply Last date of submission of Preliminary Application is May 20. 2017
